Virginia Sauer is the Birmingham Business Alliance’s market analyst, a role in which she works closely with startups and entrepreneurs to help them grow their business in the Birmingham region. Virginia is also a cofounder of the Bham BizHub, an interactive website to advance and grow entrepreneurship in Birmingham, and has created BBA events like Investors Roundtables and Pitch Prep to further connect the entrepreneurial community.
Virginia has a bachelor’s degree in art history with minors in museum studies and poverty and human capability from Washington and Lee University. Prior to her appointment at the BBA, Virginia was an admissions counselor at Washington and Lee, the recruiting coordinator for the Belmont University College of Law and, most recently, a development associate at Highlands School in Birmingham.
Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Virginia is married to J.P. Sauer and enjoys reading, cooking, exploring Birmingham and running with her dog Otto.
