Will McWane named president as fifth generation of family-owned company

McWane, LLC has named Will McWane as its new president, marking the fifth generation of family leadership at the Birmingham-based company. Will McWane has been with McWane since 2014 and most recently served as executive vice president, overseeing key business units including McWane Plumbing Group, McWane Real Estate/Highline Real Estate and McWane International. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Auburn University and a master’s in finance from Georgetown University.

In his new role, McWane will lead the company while Phillip McWane continues as chairman. Beyond his executive responsibilities, Will McWane is active in the community, serving on the Board of Junior Achievement of Alabama and supporting the development of the McWane Economic Education Center, which aims to provide experiential learning to thousands of students annually.
