  • The Alabama Department of Public Health, the Alabama Hospital Association, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama and Alabama Medicaid Agency are joining together to help stop the spread of  COVID-19.   • Fair Haven, a nonprofit retirement community in Birmingham, is still accepting admissions for all levels of care – nursing care, assisted living, memory care, short-term rehabilitation and independent living.   • Spectrum Reach understands many small businesses do not have the resources to produce video messaging, so the company is offering the ability for local business to easily build their own 30-second video for free through its partnership with a service called Waymark. Learn more here.

  • Spire has suspended disconnects and late fees until May 1 for residential and business customers. Learn more here. Additionally, Spire is providing $500,000 in matching gifts through its DollarHelp program, and Spire customers affected by COVID-19 and in need of financial assistance to pay their natural gas bills can visit here for assistance.
