Lawson State Community College Launches Biotechnician Program Pilot 

With an average of 10,300 job openings each year, there’s a strong job growth for biological technicians. To answer that growing job demand, Lawson State is offering a non-credit program, soon to be in the pilot phase, which requires students to complete online and self-paced modules that will prepare them for the hands-on experience they will gain during additional required in-person labs.

The labs will be facilitated on Fridays and Saturdays on the Birmingham campus of Lawson State.
