IMA Financial Appoints New CFO, Southeast Regional Leadership

IMA Financial Group has announced key leadership changes to support continued growth and sharpen its regional strategy. Suzanne van Staveren has been appointed Chief Financial Officer, bringing financial leadership experience from Edelman Financial Engines and Goldman Sachs. Her role will be central to shaping IMA’s financial strategy as the firm scales.

To strengthen its presence across the East, IMA has reorganized its operations into two distinct regions: Southeast and Northeast. Drew Pippin will lead the Southeast region, overseeing offices in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, while Mike Bodack will serve as President of the new Northeast region. Additional leadership appointments include Stephen DeMatteo as Northeast COO and new market presidents in Westchester and New York City to support expansion.

IMA also named Cooper Cohen Vice President of Specialties to advance its national industry practices. The realignment comes as IMA continues rapid growth in the East, now employing hundreds of associates across multiple locations.
